Certification

All EXLTUBE products are fabricated to meet or exceed strict tolerance guidelines and the yield and tensile requirements set forth by the ASTM.  Continuous product inspection and monitoring, together with major mill certification of physical and chemical properties ensures high standards of quality.

Because our products are cold-formed they offer significantly higher strength-to-weight ratios, greater yield and tensile strength and improved structural integrity when compared to hot-rolled structural beams.  The added advantage of cosmetic appearance without sharp edges and ease of joining makes steel tubing the preferred choice in many applications.

Inventory

The size and range encompassed by the EXLTUBE product line - from 1" square to 6" square - represents the majority of the demands of today's industry.  EXLTUBE also offers structural round tubing manufactured to ASTM A500 and A53 specifications.  The pipe size tubing ranges in size from 1" Schedule 10 to 6" Schedule 40 round.  With many other size and gauge variations within this range.

EXLTUBE provides a specialty product line of A53B tested and coated pipe.  Pipe ordered under this specification of A53B is intended for mechanical and pressure applications and is also acceptable for ordinary uses in steam, water, gas, and air lines.  This product line is suitable for welding and forming.

EXLTUBE has a standard floor stock of pipe size tubing in 21' and 42' lengths.  If your tubing should require beveled ends please let us know.  Beveled ends are just another one of the many services we offer.  All tubing is bare, plain end pipe manufactured from prime steel coil with mill certification.  The advantages of pipe size tubing versus pipe are found in the structural properties as well as in the aesthetic attributes of the product.  The physical requirements can be met by; adjusting the chemical properties in coil form prior to manufacturing and the dimensional tolerances are more uniform in nature.  Also, the surface quality of the product can be controlled giving a more desirable surface for the different painting applications used in present day manufacturing.
